Regional Manager of Wealth Management

Portland, ME & Portsmouth, NH: The Regional Manager of the Wealth Management Division is responsible for all business aspects of the individual departments that make up the division, currently to include wealth management, investment management, retirement plan sales, trust administration and brokerage service. Job Requirements: Minimum of 10 - 15 years of applicable wealth management experience in progressive positions of personal financial management, specific involvement in trust administration, wealth management, financial planning and prior managerial experience is required. The primary responsibilities of the position are to organize the department in order to maximize profit margins, drive accelerated sales growth, ensure quality client service resulting in business retention, and expand client relationships. The division uses a comprehensive wealth management approach based upon consultative needs based analysis that encompasses current and future wealth management considerations, taxation, risk assessment, estate planning and insurance matters. This position will be a contributing member of the Senior Management Team for both banks, offering direction and collaboration on change that is necessary for the banks to meet their financial goals. Education Requirements: A four-year college degree is mandatory (with a business major preferable). Advanced education is not required but strongly recommended with either a Masters in Business Administration or a Law Degree.
