Skilled, Trained and Ready: The STAR program takes candidates of all levels from the beginning stages of their search to the first few weeks on the job – and everything in between. Stay at home mom looking to reenter the workforce? An Executive that has been in the same position for 10 years looking to make a move? Laid off after 20 years and need interviewing experience? This program applies to everyone, and will take candidates through all the steps and stages of the job search, whatever their individual situation may be. The career search process in this economy can be daunting, intimidating and draining. Our 3 hour monthly seminar will take candidates through resume formatting, job search techniques, networking within groups as well as utilizing social media, dressing for success, interviewing skills, follow up methods, salary negotiation and even advice on acclimating successfully into a new job. The feedback has been exceptional and what’s more, our clients benefit from getting candidates that have gone the extra mile to excel and shine. It’s no charge and the reward in seeing the transformation of the candidates from when they started the class to leaving is priceless. Well, that and the baked goods that come our way after a class.
