March 3, 2011

Portsmouth, New Hampshire  - Key Partners is offering their qualified candidates a two-day intensive workshop designed to increase their skills and improve future career opportunities.  “We have just finished our second session and have received rave reviews from the attendees,” says Yola DeDominicis, President of Key Partners, “It is exciting to be able to help our candidates achieve their goals”.

The workshop is comprised of intensive hands on computer training and interviewing role play, combined with discussion and tips from certified experts in computing and soft skills.
“Like many in today’s uncertain workplace, our candidates are looking for a way to make themselves more appealing to a prospective employer. We are proud to be a part of their success.”

The time is spent on reviewing and increasing their skills in Microsoft’s newest Office programs, Word and Excel 2010. “Key Partners’ Training Manager, Robert Vincent has been able to deliver a great deal of information in a short period of time and create an environment where the students are able to retain and recall a high percentage of what they were shown.”Additionally, time is spent on work place behavior and how to be successful at their next opportunity.

“We work with the STAR program candidates through the entire job hunting process, from how to write and edit their resume and cover letter, to phone and in person interviewing skills and dress code. We have found that while many people remember some skills from past experiences, this program reminds them of techniques that they may have forgotten.”
